Brand Thunder Hires New Business Development Manager by Brand Thunder

COLUMBUS OH (December 3, 2008) — Brand Thunder LLC, the branded browser specialists, is pleased to announce that Ryan D. Miller has joined the company as Business Development Manager.

Miller will be responsible for broadening the vertical markets in which Brand Thunder’s branded browsers are being utilized. He brings a solid background in technology, marketing and business development and has held positions at Assurance Group, Sapphire Technologies and Junior Achievement of Central Ohio. He remains active with Junior Achievement and is currently serving on the board of directors for the Heart of Ohio Tech Prep Consortium. Miller received his B.A. in Psychology from Flagler College.

Huffington Post and Brand Thunder Create Custom Browser Theme to Deliver Breaking News to Growing News Community by Brand Thunder

COLUMBUS (October 27, 2008) — Brand Thunder LLC, the browser customization specialists, announced today its relationship with the Huffington Post to build a custom browser theme to allow users of the Huffington Post site to get breaking news delivered directly to their Internet browser.

The Huffington Post Browser also marks the first time Brand Thunder’s customizations will be available as both an enhancement to a browser or a single download of browser and customizations. The complete bundle distributes the Mozilla browser code, the same browser as Firefox, and adds branding, custom links and news feeds. Additionally, a one click uninstall will allow a user to simply remove all elements of the customizations. Earlier customizations required a user to navigate two locations within Firefox’s Add-ons menus for removal.

Coolfire Media and Brand Thunder Announce Distribution Partnership for Custom Browsers by Brand Thunder

Brand Thunder Expands Executive Team with Two Hires by Brand Thunder

COLUMBUS OH (July 1, 2008) — Brand Thunder LLC, the browser customization specialists, announced today that it has hired two internet executives, Brij Charan, Director of Technology and Design, and Kevin Dwinnell, Director of Product and Marketing.

“To call either of them a ‘new hire’ doesn’t do them justice,” says founder Patrick Murphy. “They’ve both been intricately involved in this venture since the beginning and I’m thrilled they’ll now contribute as part of the executive team.”

Charan will lead the development and designs for all of Brand Thunder’s products and services including styling visual elements of the browser customizations, extending browser functionality and developing a scalable download system. He brings extensive experience in software development, hardware infrastructure and graphic design. His previous work has spanned the Firefox, Flock and Netscape browsers. Charan will operate out of his office in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Dwinnell will focus on defining Brand Thunder’s product direction in addition to the marketing and promotion of Brand Thunder and its products. He has over 15 years of experience in the online industry defining, launching and managing programs for the AOL, CompuServe and Netscape brands. His experience in business, product and promotion management also includes work for Hanna-Barbera Studios, Liebert Corporation and Turner Broadcasting Systems. Dwinnell will be based in Columbus, Ohio.

The $250,000 investment will allow Brand Thunder to build out its technology platform and develop its client base.
